CAMBRIAN
The Cambrian area of San Jose is a tight-knit, highly desirable community of some 40,000 residents. A majority of the area is served by the Union and Cambrian Elementary and Middle School districts, each of which have earned the designation, California Distinguished Schools, with students test scores in the 90th percentiles. The distinctive carousel is a landmark of the Cambrian Park Plaza shopping center. It hosts its own farmer’s market on Wednesday nights that attracts many locals seeking unique fresh produce and one of a kind products. Cambrian Park is also located close to the charming town of Los Gatos. Los Gatos is an upscale community with great schools, shopping, restaurants and community involvement. Diversity abounds in things to do from sailing on Lake Vasona to wine tasting at the Testarossa Vineyards. At Christmas time there are horse drawn carriages & the largest parade in Northern California. In the summer there are music concerts in the park and Jazz in the Plazz.
